The ports of Palamós and Roses, under the Costa Brava Cruise Ports brand, are participating in the Seatrade Cruise Med 2026 fair in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to promote the destination among international cruise industry agents.

Participation in this key industry event, which gathers nearly 2,000 professionals from almost eighty countries, has a dual objective: to consolidate relationships with cruise lines already operating on the Costa Brava and to attract new companies, particularly from the high-end cruise segment.
The Catalan delegation is led by the Director General of Ports de la Generalitat, Esther Roca, accompanied by the Head of Economic Promotion and Tourism for the Palamós City Council, Sílvia Romero, and the Cruise and Commercial Promotion Technician for Ports de la Generalitat, Sara Valls.
The Costa Brava Cruise Ports strategy focuses on a model of small to medium-sized, high-quality cruise tourism, aiming for visitors to engage with the region and generate significant economic returns.
During the fair, the attractions of Palamós and the Costa Brava are being presented, combining heritage, culture, gastronomy, commerce, and activities related to the sea and the natural environment.
The promotion includes new materials and specific information about the ports, scheduled calls, and tourist attractions, as well as the Costa Brava Cruise Ports portal.
This initiative is a collaboration between Ports de la Generalitat, the City Councils of Palamós and Roses, the Costa Brava Girona Tourism Board, and the Chambers of Commerce of Girona and Palamós.
