The Palamós Town Council has expanded its Community Educational Guidance Service this March to provide better support for children and young people up to 20 years old.

Part of the Palamós Educational Environment Plan, the service aims to reduce early school leaving and ensure equitable learning paths. So far, nearly 30 young people and their families have received personalized advice regarding their academic and professional futures.
The initiative also includes a welcome program for newly arrived families and specific workshops for 4th-year ESO students. Furthermore, in collaboration with Red Cross Palamós, the council provides assistance to low-income families during the enrollment process for vocational training courses.
