The Palamós City Council launched the bidding process this Thursday for 19 interior stalls at the new Municipal Market, which is expected to open its doors before the summer season.

The renovation project, costing over 2.4 million euros, received 1.3 million euros from the EU Next Generation funds. The new facility features a glass-walled ground floor for better lighting and a ceramic brick facade designed for natural ventilation.
The 1,203-square-meter ground floor will host the main sales area, focusing on local products. Accessibility has been a priority, with the installation of elevators and the removal of architectural barriers, alongside a new parking area on the first floor.
