The Palamós Youth Summer Camp has opened its registrations, offering a leisure and training program for young people aged between 13 and 17, taking place from July 6 to 31.

This initiative, promoted by the Youth Area of the Palamós City Council, includes a pre-monitor training course. The objective is to introduce participants to the world of leisure education, providing an initial approach for those who wish to obtain the official monitor qualification in the future.
Activities will be held at the facilities of the Institut Escola Vila-romà and the Palamós Learning Classroom. The organization and training are managed by the Escola d'educadors en el lleure Empordà, ensuring an educational and practical experience.
The program is divided into three training levels, adapted to the different ages of the participants: an initial level for young people aged 13 and 14, a second for those up to 16 years old, and a third for older participants. Scheduled activities include outdoor excursions such as bike routes, introduction to hiking, and kayaking, as well as games, workshops, and group dynamics.
With this proposal, the municipality aims to offer an enriching experience that helps young people discover the leisure sector and prepare for future training. Registrations can now be formalized through the organization's website.
