Platja d'Aro celebrates Carnival with over 5,000 participants in Grand Parade

The town of Platja d'Aro celebrated its Grand Float and Troupe Parade this Saturday, February 14th, a massive event featuring 67 groups and thousands of spectators.

The festive day in Baix Empordà saw 5,000 participants from 17 different municipalities, including Sant Feliu de Guíxols and Palamós. The parade is one of the most significant events in the regional holiday calendar.
The Town Council awarded 11,000 euros in prizes during a ceremony at the Palau d'Esports i Congressos. Organizers emphasized sustainability and safety, maintaining the B Greenly environmental certification and providing a Purple Point for prevention.
