The Palafrugell City Council has reinforced the security and mobility measures at Sant Sebastià mountain for the solar eclipse, anticipating a large public turnout.

The Palafrugell Local Police will control traffic throughout the afternoon of this Wednesday. Vehicle access will be restricted once the parking areas are full. Residents of the area and those with restaurant reservations in Sant Sebastià will be able to access normally.
The council recommends planning travel in advance, as the area experiences significant crowds during the summer months. It is also informed that unauthorized vehicles will not be able to access via Uruguai street, a point that will be monitored by a camera.
The City Council also urges maximum caution for those walking up to the lighthouse, especially during the nighttime return. Finally, the importance of using adequate protection systems to prevent eye injuries when looking directly at the Sun during the eclipse is reminded.
