The march followed the path taken by a group of individuals, including Isabel Vila, in 1869 to aid republican wounded during the uprising of the Focs de la Bisbal.
The walks commenced simultaneously from three municipalities: Llagostera, Bisbal d’Empordà, and Calonge. The various columns of participants converged at the coll de la Isabel, a strategic point between Puig d’Aiguabona and puig de la Gavarra.
Once gathered at the pass, a joint gathering was held. The event featured a tribute to Isabel Vila, including the performance of a song dedicated to her, composed by Antoni Mas.
