The outpatient clinics at Palamós Hospital are hosting the "Innovation to Transform Health" exhibition, provided by IDIBGI, from yesterday until early next week.

The exhibition features twelve initiatives spanning diverse fields such as early diagnosis, rehabilitation, digital health, clinical nutrition, mental health, oncology, neurology, and cardiovascular diseases. Through informative panels, visitors can discover how these initiatives contribute to developing new technologies, digital tools, medical devices, or therapeutic approaches with the potential to transform healthcare.
The presented initiatives have been driven within the framework of the innovation support and acceleration program GIR-INNOVA, coordinated by IDIBGI as the territorial node of the ITEMAS Platform and supported by the Instituto de Salud Carlos III.
The projects have been developed by professionals and teams from various healthcare institutions in Girona, including IDIBGI, the Fundació Salut Empordà (FSE), the Serveis de Salut Integrats Baix Empordà (SSIBE), the Corporació de Salut del Maresme i la Selva (CSMS), the Hospital Universitari Dr. Josep Trueta, and the Institut d'Assistència Sanitària (IAS), all part of the XISCG.
