The Pals Town Council has formalized the awarding of the new contract for solid urban waste collection, transport of different fractions, street cleaning, and cleaning of beach accesses. The total cost amounts to 11,952,137.86 euros.
The successful bidder is the company Servitransfer, S.L., which will manage the service for the next eight years, with the possibility of a one-year extension.

The progressive implementation of the door-to-door selective collection system will begin in the coming months. This measure aims to guarantee the continuity and improvement of an essential service for Pals.
The new contract also integrates advanced management and control tools designed to enhance monitoring, efficiency, and quality throughout its duration, benefiting both residents and the tourist activity in the area.
