La Sala ENCUENTRO in Abrera begins its fourth season on November 6th, 2026, after three years in which over 70 shows have graced its stage, thus consolidating a small-format cultural project based on proximity between artists and audiences.
Driven by the Associació Crear i Compartir, Sala ENCUENTRO was born in Abrera with the aim of creating a space where different artistic disciplines could coexist and, at the same time, offer a stage for both artists with a consolidated career and emerging talents and projects.
During its first three seasons, the venue has hosted stand-up comedians such as Edu Mutante, Guillem Estadella, Páblez, Eva Cabezas, or Rocío Raval; artists of recognized trajectory such as the international Madalena Alberto, Joan Vázquez, or Dídac Flores; young Catalan singer-songwriters such as Clodine or Víctor Arbelo; and emerging bands and artists from the Baix Llobregat region such as Laura Benet, Tamagotxi, Laura Santos, or Coneguts.
The programming has also opened its doors to other disciplines and formats, with magic shows such as those by the young Yago el Mago, from Olesa de Montserrat; or theatre companies such as La Barni Teatre, creating a diverse programme in which music, theatre, humour, and entertainment share the stage.
A fourth season that maintains the essence of Sala Encuentro
The new season will continue to develop this same artistic line and will especially reinforce one of the project's objectives: giving visibility and space to emerging artists, with concerts such as that of young Terrassa singer-songwriter Sophie Coff, alongside proposals capable of connecting with very diverse audiences.
The programme will also include a concert by the renowned Catalan singer-songwriter Dani Flaco, as part of his 20th-anniversary Spanish tour; tributes to Estopa, Joaquín Sabina, Robe, and Hombres G; the return of Edu Mutante, who will present a show celebrating his 25-year career; and other proposals, such as the drag show ‘Tetes i Fartons’, further expanding the variety of genres and formats present at the venue.
The fourth season will kick off next Friday, November 6th, with a 'Tardeo' (afternoon gathering) featuring Miri’s Way, who will offer an acoustic journey through the history of pop-rock, a sonic adventure that will take the audience from the timeless classics to the most current hits.
With this fourth season, the project continues its commitment to entertaining the audience, creating community, and establishing Sala ENCUENTRO as a benchmark cultural space and meeting point in Abrera and the surrounding region. A place to discover different artists and proposals, but, above all, a place to share, disconnect, and have a good time enjoying quality culture in a friendly atmosphere.
«Reaching this fourth season after having programmed over 70 shows fills us with special excitement. Sala ENCUENTRO was born with the idea of creating a close-knit space where artists and audiences could truly connect. We want to continue growing without losing this essence and, above all, continue offering opportunities to new talents and bringing different cultural proposals to Abrera and the entire region,» state Carol Luque and Marisol González, project initiators.
With this fourth season, Sala Encuentro and Associació Crear i Compartir renew their commitment to local culture that is lived, shared, and creates community, maintaining proximity, quality, diversity, and support for emerging talent as the hallmarks of a project that aims to continue growing alongside its audience.
