The Teatre El Goula in Begues will be the venue on September 30th for a participatory conference open to all citizens. The event is part of the 7th Baix Llobregat Women's Congress and will focus on the challenges, opportunities, and transformation of women's professional trajectories.
Participants will include Mireia Magrans, founder of the Dharana Begues Yoga Centre, and Teresa Vendrell, a local farmer and promoter of Marlet Km 0. The session will be moderated by Marta Carrera, a specialist in female leadership and a resident of Begues.
Under the slogan "Now more than ever", the Congress, promoted by the Consell Comarcal del Baix Llobregat, will hold its main events in Sant Joan Despí on October 23rd and 24th. Throughout September, events have been organized in various municipalities across the region.
This space for participation and knowledge aims to foster debate, collaborative work, and the development of proposals to advance feminist policies in the Baix Llobregat region. Six working commissions have been established on digital violence, health, racism, poverty, those over 65, and training, employment, and entrepreneurship.
