This initiative, promoted by the Agència d'Habitatge de Catalunya, primarily aims to facilitate access to and maintenance of habitual housing for the elderly. Subsidies are intended for those living in rented accommodation whose income falls within the limits established by current regulations.
Interested parties can submit their applications from March 31 to April 30, 2026. There are two ways to complete the process: in person at the Local Housing Office of Castelldefels, located at Pasaje de las Caramelles, 2, open Monday to Friday from 9:30 to 13:30, or electronically through the Generalitat de Catalunya's online procedures website.
This measure seeks to facilitate access to habitual housing for this segment of the population.
Eligible applicants must be holders of a rental contract, room rental, or use assignment, and must have turned 65 years old by January 31, 2026. An important requirement is that the maximum monthly rent must not exceed 950 euros.
The amount of the subsidy will be adjusted based on the rental cost and household income, ranging from 240 to 2,400 euros annually. This translates to monthly support from 50 to 200 euros.
