The project is primarily aimed at young people between 16 and 25 years old and individuals over 60 years old who wish to participate, meet others, and share their time and experiences. The proposal stems from the desire to continue promoting local volunteering and citizen participation, while generating new opportunities for relationships between different generations.
Volunteering is seen as a space for learning and exchange, where each generation can share knowledge and skills. The project aims to go beyond simple contact, creating an environment where all participants can contribute and learn from each other.
The initiative will begin with a phase of dissemination and participant recruitment. Subsequently, knowledge and training meetings will be held with participatory dynamics to facilitate participants getting to know each other and exchanging experiences and interests. It will also focus on volunteering, citizen participation, and the importance of building community, featuring testimonials from local entities.
Following this initial contact, the group will design and participate in a joint community action, defined according to the participants' interests and the municipality's needs. The first information meeting will take place on Thursday, November 12th at the Oficina Jove de Cornellà.
