The Granja de la Ricarda will be the main venue for the 30th Aplec de la Tartana and the 12th popular planting, taking place today, October 9th, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The event offers a diverse program for all audiences.
Starting at 10:30 AM, attendees can enjoy the exhibition “La Sardana de tots i per a tothom” (Sardana for everyone and by everyone), which will be open throughout the day. Concurrently, the popular planting will take place between Granja de la Ricarda and the municipal leisure gardens, along with workshops and stalls featuring associations, tools, and farm products.
The day will continue with a Sardana dance at 11:30 AM, followed by performances from popular culture groups including gegants (giants), capgrossos (big-heads), dances, castells (human towers), and trabucaires (musketeers) at 1:00 PM. A communal lunch is scheduled for 2:00 PM.
The celebration will conclude with a concert by Gòspel Prat at 3:15 PM.
