An accident involving an articulated truck and two cars on the B-23 near Sant Joan Despí has forced the closure of exit 3 towards Barcelona, leading to significant traffic jams.

The incident, which occurred on Monday morning, is affecting traffic over more than two kilometers of the B-23, between Sant Feliu de Llobregat and Sant Just Desvern. According to the Servei Català de Trànsit, traffic jams have also formed on the stretch between Molins de Rei and Sant Feliu de Llobregat, also heading towards Barcelona.
Emergency services, including the Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan Police), Bombers de la Generalitat (Firefighters), and the Sistema d'Emergències Mèdiques (Emergency Medical System), have been dispatched to the scene to manage the situation and assist any potential casualties.
In addition to this incident, another accident occurred on Monday morning on the A-2 near Òdena, in the Anoia region. This incident has blocked the highway in the direction of Barcelona, necessitating diversions via exit 549. The A-2 remains open to traffic heading towards Lleida.
