The Begues City Council has launched a public participation process to allow local sports organizations to contribute ideas for the new sports center to be built at Campus Nord.

Representatives from various sports entities met last Friday at the Petit Casal to discuss the preliminary technical project. The session was attended by Mayor Mercè Esteve and Sports Councilor Cati Junyent, focusing on defining the criteria for the design and construction of the facility.
The project includes a covered sports hall with three courts, an additional annex, changing rooms, and multipurpose rooms. It also plans to reorganize the adjacent outdoor areas of the Municipal Sports Zone, such as the racket sports courts and the expansion of the local skate park.
A digital survey has been opened on the Participa311 platform until April 6 to gather further feedback on accessibility and comfort. These contributions will be technically analyzed before the final document is drafted for the project's tendering process.
