Mayor Mercè Esteve and the Begues government team visited the new Clínica Fòrum Montau facilities in Ca n'Amell this Wednesday, marking a decade of the center's operations in the town.

The therapeutic center, which began its journey in 2015, has treated more than 2,000 patients since its inception. The new building was inaugurated late last year to accommodate the growing demand for mental health and addiction services following the COVID-19 pandemic.
Founders Paco Soler and Ferran Samaniego guided the visit through the new spaces, which include a gym, swimming pool, and outdoor areas for recovery. The facility provides 24-hour care in a quiet environment specifically designed for small groups.
A long-standing agreement with the Begues City Council has allowed 40 local residents to access free treatments. The clinic also collaborates with the Family Information Service on Addictions (SIFA) to provide guidance to the local community.
