The Corbera de Llobregat City Council has activated the Catalan Flood Emergency Plan (INUNCAT) to alert phase due to the forecast of a very high risk of flooding on Wednesday, September 9th.

The Generalitat de Catalunya has established extraordinary prevention and protection measures for the municipalities of Baix Llobregat and other affected regions. In Corbera de Llobregat, these measures will be in effect from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and include the recommendation to avoid non-essential travel, promote teleworking, and suspend various activities.
Educational, outdoor sports, and university activities are suspended, as well as those at affiliated centers and university research centers. Activity in basic and specialized social services, and non-essential or urgent healthcare, will also be halted.
At the municipal level, as a preventive measure, the Can Baró Library, the Casal de les Magnòlies, and the Parc de les Palmeres will remain closed. Additionally, the school transport service will be suspended for the day.
The City Council urges the public to exercise extreme caution, avoid unnecessary travel, and follow the instructions of emergency services and official information to minimize risks and protect the population. Non-compliance with the limitations may result in sanctions.
It is recommended to stay attentive to the official channels of the City Council and the Generalitat for potential updates on the situation or adopted measures.
