Cornellà commemorates the National Day of Catalonia on Friday, September 11th, with an institutional event in front of the '11 de setembre' sculptural ensemble in Plaça de l'Església.

The event, starting at 11:30 AM and concluding at 1:30 PM, will include a sardana performance and dance by the Cobla Maricel de Sitges.
From 12:00 PM onwards, protocolary acts will take place: the reading of the institutional text, a floral offering from the City Council (attended by the mayor, spokespersons of political groups, and unions), and an offering from citizen entities.
Following this, the Ball de l'Àguila de Cornellà will be performed, and the city's choirs (Coral Nova Tardor, Coral Àuria, Coral Orfeó Catalònia, and Coral Zetzània), under the direction of Coral Orfeó Catalònia, will sing the Cant dels Segadors.
The event will conclude with another sardana dance, marking the end of the day's commemoration.
