Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested Jonathan Andic, son of Mango founder Isak Andic, as a suspect in his father's death, which occurred in December 2024 in Montserrat.

The investigation into the death of Isak Andic, founder of Mango, has taken a new turn with the arrest of his son, Jonathan Andic, as a suspect in the homicide. The death occurred on December 14, 2024, during an excursion in Montserrat, near the Salnitre caves in Collbató.
Initially, Andic's death was considered accidental, as he fell down a ravine approximately 150 meters deep. His son, Jonathan Andic, was the sole witness to the events. A court in Martorell opened an investigation, but in January 2025, the case was provisionally dismissed due to a lack of evidence of a crime.
However, the case was reopened in March 2025 after new statements were incorporated. The Mossos d'Esquadra began investigating the death as a homicide in October of that year, due to contradictions detected in Jonathan Andic's statement. Police pointed out inconsistencies regarding the accident site, the car's parking location, and the possibility that the body had fallen without external force. Further suspicions arose when it was revealed that the son had asked his father's bodyguard to leave them alone before the excursion.
Police inquiries included requesting Jonathan Andic's mobile phone in November 2025 to analyze his communications. Finally, on May 19, 2026, the Mossos d'Esquadra proceeded with the arrest of Jonathan Andic to take his statement as a suspect in his father's homicide.
