The initiative, being developed across the region's 30 municipalities with the support of local councils, aims to obtain a territorial diagnosis. This will allow understanding how the industrial fabric is incorporating these technologies into its work processes and identifying the main needs faced by companies.
The study places special emphasis on the application of artificial intelligence and automation to the office processes and tasks of industrial companies. This is expected to improve productivity, optimize processes, and facilitate digital transformation, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises.
The results will identify the level of adoption of these technologies, common uses, main barriers to incorporation, and needs for training and support. This information will help guide future economic development actions and support for the region's productive sector.
Industrial companies from the 30 municipalities of Baix Llobregat can participate through a brief questionnaire. Responses will be treated confidentially, and results will be presented in an aggregated and anonymous format. Data collection will be open until October 20, 2026, with results presentation scheduled for November.
