The head of the opposition in Sant Just Desvern, Laia Flotats, has strongly criticized the local government this March, citing a lack of planning and administrative inefficiency in key municipal projects.

The Endavant Sant Just representative expressed skepticism regarding the new agro-livestock center, describing it as an ideological whim of the Comuns party. Flotats argued that such projects are only feasible in wealthy societies and do not address the actual needs of the local population.

"The agro-livestock center is a 'posh whim' of the Comuns. This ideology can only exist in wealthy societies."

Furthermore, Flotats highlighted the delays in the Ateneu renovation works. She claimed that poor initial budgeting led to a two-year halt, resulting in costs doubling to 6 million euros. This situation, according to the opposition, exemplifies the Sant Just Desvern Council's tendency to improvise rather than plan.
