More than 400 4th-grade primary school students from all schools in Sant Feliu participated this Wednesday, October 21st, in the new edition of 'Les escoles canten', held at the Juan Carlos Navarro pavilion.

The students performed the cantata Rosa Joana i les set magnífiques, a work inspired by poems by Joana Raspall and set to music by maestro Joan Josep Blay, who also directed the performance. The event was attended by the mayor Lourdes Borrell, the Councilor for Culture and Education Ana Cubet, teaching staff, and families.
During the celebration, appreciation was expressed for the collective effort of the management teams of the participating schools and the volunteers from the Municipal Senior Center, especially those whose voices brought to life the texts by Miquel Desclot: Marie France Gil, Carmen Sáez, Pasión Garcia, Manel Lorente, Lourdes Rius, and Nerea Rodríguez. Recognition was also given to the faculty of the Municipal Music School, directed by Neus Serra and Abi Ortega, and to the musical direction of Joan Josep Blay.
Music teachers from the educational centers and volunteers from the Senior Center received a diploma and a rose as a memento. Mayor Lourdes Borrell and Councilor Ana Cubet closed the event by thanking all involved parties and families, highlighting the months of preparation by teachers and students that made this traditional event possible.
