The Councillor for Culture, Ainoa García, highlighted the aim to offer a diverse program for all audiences. "We wanted to create a very varied musical program, with proposals for different audiences and generations," she stated. Among the notable concerts, La Ludwig Band will perform on Monday, September 28, at the Parc del Baix Llobregat. The focus on local talent was also emphasized with groups like Rocktambuls and Nocturnal – Tribut a Amaral.
The program includes new events such as the 1st Meeting of Classic and Sports Vehicles MCMC, and sports activities like Roundnet and RollOver Fest. The Nit Jove (Young Night) is also being revived on Thursday, September 24, at the Federació Obrera court.
The nighttime music program will primarily take place at the Parc del Baix Llobregat. On Friday, Los 80 Pasajeros and Rocktambuls will perform; on Saturday the 26th, Nocturnal – Tribut a Amaral and Allioli; and on Monday the 28th, Kelly Isaiah and La Ludwig Band, followed by a DJ. To ensure residents' rest, the venue will close at 4 AM on Friday and Saturday. There will be no nighttime activity at the park on Sunday the 27th.
The venue's capacity will be 8,000 people, with access controls to enhance security. 12,000 reusable cups will be provided to entities to reduce waste.
The celebration will commence on Friday the 18th with the ringing of bells, a procession to gather the 'Miquels', and the official proclamation of the Festival. On Saint Michael's Day, September 29, activities will move to Parc de la Mariona, featuring children's activities, sea shanties with Xicranda, and the traditional fireworks display to conclude the festival. This location change aims to decentralize the event.
The objective is to guarantee activities for everyone, including family, children's, sports, and cultural events. Accessibility and inclusivity are ensured with reserved spaces for people with disabilities, pictograms to identify activity features, and a quiet hour. A 'punto lila' (safe space against gender-based violence) will be present at various activities, and the free nighttime urban bus service with on-demand drop-offs will be maintained.
The mayor, Xavi Paz, praised the consolidated festival model, stating, "We are shaping a complete, varied, rich festival, with entities taking center stage, and a qualitative leap in the nighttime offerings that is here to stay. These are ten days of celebration built through dialogue."
