This Tuesday, September 15, at 5:30 PM, the Mercat Vell in Mollet will be the venue for the presentation of the new season's activities, courses, and workshops aimed at the municipality's seniors. The program includes a total of 82 courses for those over 55 years old, of which more than 31% will be free. The remaining paid courses will be subsidized based on family income.
The event will be attended by the Mayor of Mollet del Vallès, Mireia Dionisio Calé, and the Councilor for Senior Citizens, Maria Josefa Muñoz Pareja. The event, open to all seniors in the municipality, aims to publicize the program, provide additional information, and detail the registration procedure.
The City Council, in collaboration with local entities, offers 80 courses and workshops in various formats to seniors over 55: 59 annual, 15 quarterly, and 6 monographic. Of these, 25 will be taught by seniors from the knowledge volunteer program, while the rest will be led by professional instructors.
During the presentation, a promotional video showcasing the new offerings will be screened, and information will be provided on the new course, the appointment system for registrations, payment calculations, and subsidies. Attendees' questions will also be addressed.
The video will also be broadcast on Vallès Visió on September 10, 12, 13, and 14 at various times.
