The activity, aimed at primary education students, took place over ten Saturday sessions and was designed by music therapists. Participants were divided into two groups, based on their school year (1st-3rd and 4th-6th grade), to adapt the activities to different developmental stages.
The main objective of the workshop was to enhance children's emotional, social, and cognitive well-being through music, movement, and voice. Tools for emotional expression and regulation were worked on, as well as attention and listening skills through active listening and sound and silence games.
The sessions also fostered communication and social interaction. This was achieved through shared instrument use, rhythmic imitations, and various adapted group dynamics, such as the Musical UNO game. The program was complemented by spaces dedicated to creativity and improvisation.
Both the organization and the participating children have highly valued the experience upon its conclusion.
