The Oficina de Català of Olesa de Montserrat has opened the period for requesting placement tests for its new Catalan courses, which will begin soon.

The Oficina de Català of Olesa, located at Cal Rapissa, Carrer Ample number 25, offers once again a wide range of Catalan courses for all levels. The aim is to facilitate the learning and improvement of the Catalan language, both spoken and written, for all citizens.
This year, in person in Olesa, three Basic 1 level courses, one Elemental 1 level course, and one Intermediate 1 level course, necessary for obtaining the B2 certificate, will be offered. As a new feature, a Basic 3 course in a blended learning format is being introduced, combining in-person classes with individual work via an online platform.
Free placement tests can be requested from September 1st to 4th, either in person or online. Registration will be processed in stages: from September 14th to 15th for students enrolled in the last twelve months, and from September 16th for new students. Specific dates by level are: September 16th for Initial and Basic 1; from September 17th to 21st for most levels (except C2); and September 21st for the C2 level.
Registration can be completed in person at the Office (mornings 9 AM to 2 PM, afternoons 5 PM to 8 PM, except on the 21st) or online via the website www.cpnl.cat/inscripcions/.
Students are eligible for 50% or 70% matrícula reductions due to precarious situations, being pensioners, members of single-parent or large families, or having a recognized disability of 33% or more. Initial and basic courses remain free for individuals with fewer Catalan language skills.
For further information or inquiries, the Oficina de Català of Olesa can be contacted via email at olesa@cpnl.cat or by calling 677 256 442 from September 1st.
