The Viladecans City Council and the Barcelona Metropolitan Area have agreed to extend the X84 express bus line starting March 16 to serve the Campreciós and El Ginestar neighborhoods.

This public transport improvement will include six new stops in each direction. As part of the changes, the line will no longer pass by the Cúbic fairgrounds, moving its final stop to Avenida de la Fraternidad, next to the Municipal Baseball Field.
To ensure service efficiency, morning departures between 6 AM and 10 AM will be reinforced to maintain a 15-minute frequency. For the rest of the day, buses will run every 30 minutes, providing a direct link to Barcelona's Avinguda Diagonal.

"We are making a very serious commitment to improving public transport, finally getting all trains to stop at our station and substantially improving buses."

Olga Morales · Mayor of Viladecans
In addition to the X84 extension, the council announced that a fourth urban line, the VB3, will launch after the summer. This new service will connect northern neighborhoods and the Llevant area with the train station and the Ca n'Alemany sector.
