The SJD Sant Boi Hospital has been recognized as a finalist in the Best Spanish Awards, an accolade that rewards hospital excellence at a national level.

The SJD Sant Boi Hospital received last week the finalist diploma for the best public hospital in the maternal and child processes area during the eighth edition of the BSH (Best Spanish Awards), held in Madrid. This recognition positions the Sant Joan de Déu healthcare center in Sant Boi as one of the best in Spain in this specialty.
In this edition, 149 acute care hospitals, both public and private, from across Spain participated, with representation from 15 autonomous communities. In total, 65 hospitals from 9 autonomous communities received 100 distinctions.
The BSH awards evaluate hospital excellence through indicators of efficiency, appropriateness, and quality of care. The jury analyzed and compared the processes attended and the complications of the participating centers.
Representing the SJD Sant Boi Hospital, the diploma was collected by Patrícia Gallardo, Head of the Pediatrics Service; Johanna Parra, Head of the Gynecology and Obstetrics Service; and Clara Garcia, Coordinator of the maternal and child process and Head of Nursing Management.
The BSH awards recognize hospitals with the best results in the main clinical areas: medical, surgical, and maternal and child. Eighteen Benchmark BSH awards and 36 finalist diplomas are presented, based on key indicators of prevalent procedures in acute care hospitals.
