Last Friday, October 16th, Sant Climent de Llobregat hosted a day dedicated to inclusion and accessibility, with significant citizen participation and various activities to foster collective awareness and commitment.

The central activity was an accessibility scavenger hunt, organized by Somriures de Llum – ASDIVI. This event consisted of six family-oriented challenges designed to allow participants to experience the daily difficulties faced by individuals with different disabilities. Upon completing all challenges, participants received a small gift.
The initiative aimed to promote empathy and raise awareness about the importance of building a more accessible and inclusive society. The scavenger hunt was made possible through the collaboration of volunteers who provided support throughout the day.
The event also included the participation of the Lactamater association, dedicated to supporting motherhood, and the Associació Contra el Càncer de Viladecans (Cancer Association of Viladecans), who offered information at their stands. Additionally, inclusive games for children were organized, and a drinks and snacks bar was available.
The day concluded with a humorous musical performance, thanks to the collaboration of the local company Oxid, which provided the sound equipment free of charge. Given the positive reception, the Department of Social Services has announced that this event will be held annually to continue raising citizen awareness about the importance of inclusion as a shared responsibility.
