The City Council of Sant Feliu de Llobregat has organized a program of activities during October to commemorate the International Day for Trans Depathologization, celebrated on October 21st.

The campaign aims to eliminate diagnostic categories that still affect trans people and seeks to raise public awareness about the fight for the rights of the LGTBI community.
The Octubre Trans program began on Monday, October 5th, at the Montserrat Roig Library with the reading of a manifesto. Subsequently, a round table was held with the participation of LGTBI activist Gonzalo Abaha Nguema Mikue, who discussed the state homophobia in Guinea and presented his books: "Les rates també s'enamoren" and "El raret que ets". This meeting was part of the third edition of the Quinzena de la Solidaritat i la Interculturalitat (Fortnight of Solidarity and Interculturality).
The activities will continue on Thursday, October 22nd, from 11 AM to 1 PM, at the Casal de Joves (Youth Center), with a workshop on trans depathologization organized by the association TransBaix Power for students in the 3rd or 4th year of ESO from Sant Feliu's high schools.
Through these initiatives, Sant Feliu reaffirms its commitment to the visibility and defense of the rights of trans people and the LGTBI collective, promoting a more inclusive and respectful society for gender diversity.
