The event, held at the CCC Virgínia Amposta, was attended by the mayor, Miguel Comino, and the Councilor for the Elderly, Inma Moyano. They presented the couples with the institutional gift: a lever bridge and an ornamental orchid.
During the evening, singer Llorenç Fernández Conde, accompanied by pianist Carles Darriba, performed iconic love songs such as 'Vivir así es morir de amor' by Camilo Sexto, 'Amor Particular' by Lluís Llach, 'Un beso y una flor' by Nino Bravo, and 'Paraules d’Amor' by Joan Manel Serrat.
Journalist and writer Alberto Cabello also participated in the tribute by reciting his poem 'Homenaje de las Bodas de Oro' (Homage to the Golden Wedding).
The celebration concluded with congratulations and wishes for 'many more years' to the honored couples.
