The El Vendrell City Council announced the recovery of 144 rotation parking spaces with time control in Coma-ruga and Sant Salvador to boost economic activity this summer.

The council has decided to reinstate this system on the Coma-ruga Maritime Promenade and on Carrerada d'en Ralet street, in the Sant Salvador Sanatori sector. The main objective is to favor vehicle rotation and improve access to the leisure and dining options in the coastal areas during the high season.
These rotation parking spots had been suppressed in 2020, coinciding with the start of the construction of the Coma-ruga urban center and the pedestrianization of Plaça Germans Trillas.
The municipal parking plan identified the center of Coma-ruga and the Sanatori sector as the two areas with the highest parking availability tension during the summer season. With this action, a total of 144 parking spaces will be recovered.
The rotation parking schedule is expected to be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Furthermore, a maximum stay of three hours will be established to ensure constant vehicle rotation and support local businesses and beach access.
