The arrest occurred following a fight in the Campclar neighborhood, where officers identified those involved. Upon checking his details, they confirmed the man had an active arrest warrant issued by the Unitat d'Investigació del Vendrell, related to ten burglaries and one vehicle theft committed between November 17 and December 21 of last year.
The alleged perpetrator primarily used scaling (climbing) to access the homes, forcing doors and windows. Once inside, he stole items easily sold on the second-hand market, such as cash, jewelry, and bank cards.
Most of the incidents took place in the Baix Penedès. The first robbery was recorded on November 17 in Cunit. Subsequently, on December 11, he committed four more burglaries in Cunit, Mas Mel (in Calafell), and Coma-ruga. The following day, he perpetrated four more robberies in homes in Segur de Calafell. In one of these cases, he stole the keys to a vehicle, which he used to flee and subsequently caused an accident in Cunit.
The individual fled the scene of the accident on foot. Once detained, the Unitat d'Investigació del Vendrell linked him to three additional burglaries, including the theft of a vehicle in Mongons (Tarragona) and a robbery in a hotel room in Coma-ruga. The detainee appeared before the duty court in el Vendrell this Saturday morning.
