CP Calafell missed out on the Copa del Rey title this Sunday after losing 1-4 to HC Liceo in a hard-fought final held in Sant Sadurní.

The match remained balanced until the 21st minute when Arnau Xaus scored from a direct free hit to give the Galician side the lead. Despite Calafell's efforts, Liceo goalkeeper Blai Roca delivered a standout performance, frustrating the Baix Penedès attackers throughout the first half.
In the second period, Calafell pushed for an equalizer, with Sergi Folguera hitting the post from a direct set piece. The turning point came in the final ten minutes when Bruno Saavedra scored a rapid hat-trick, extending the lead to 0-4. The tension on the bench led to a red card for Calafell coach Guillem Cabestany.
Biel Pujadas managed to score a consolation goal for the local team in the final minute, leaving the final score at 1-4. This victory marks the eleventh Copa del Rey for Liceo, who currently lead the OK Lliga standings.
