On the occasion of International Museum Day, the Museu Deu in El Vendrell has organized a unique activity that will allow visitors to explore five sculptures through touch this Sunday.

Breaking the 'do not touch' barrier is the main goal of this initiative. The facility, located in the Baix Penedès region, has selected pieces that, due to their configuration and materials, allow for controlled interaction to discover volumes and textures that often go unnoticed by sight alone.
The open house day will include guided explanations every 10 minutes to delve into the language of sculpture. Among the selected works are pieces such as La Maternitat Txamula, La Pastoreta, Persona, and Espiga, representing different eras and artistic styles.
The museum's management highlights that this proposal seeks to offer a different reading of art, one that is more sensory and participatory. The session, designed for an adult audience, lasts approximately 60 minutes and aims to help attendees experience the works in greater depth.
