From May 15 to 17, El Vendrell commemorates International Museum Day with a free program including tours, workshops, and exhibitions at the town's seven cultural facilities.

Under the theme Museums for Education and Research, the Baix Penedès municipality has designed an agenda aimed at fostering dialogue and social cohesion. The proposal coincides with relevant anniversaries such as the 150th anniversary of the birth of Pau Casals, the centenary of Nicole Florensa, and the town's current status as the capital of the sardana.
Participating venues, including the Museu Deu, the Museu Apel·les Fenosa, and the Museu Pau Casals, will offer open house days. Visitors can enjoy varied proposals such as children's workshops, dramatized tours, and temporary exhibition openings at the Sala Portal del Pardo and other centers.
Music and tradition will have a specific focus with activities dedicated to the sardana, including learning workshops and popular dances. As an additional incentive, attendees who visit all seven museums during May 16 and 17 will receive a commemorative gift for each facility visited.
