La Bisbal del Penedès launches 80,000 euro participatory budget

Residents can submit investment proposals for the municipality from March 9 to 29.

The La Bisbal del Penedès Town Council has officially opened the 2026 Participatory Budgeting process, allocating 80,000 euros for projects proposed and selected directly by the local community.

From March 9 to 29, anyone with a connection to the town can submit investment ideas. The initiative was presented at the Municipal Culture Centre, highlighting that the winning projects will be implemented during 2027.

After a technical feasibility study, a public vote will be held for residents aged 16 and over. Proposals can be submitted online or at various municipal locations, including the Library and the Sports Pavilion.
