The event will take place next Friday, June 12th, at eight in the evening. The reading of Malves, the second theatrical piece written and directed by Nati Soler Alcaide, will feature performances by actresses Núria Amer, Laia Batlle, and Mònica Farré, who previously collaborated on the author's earlier work, Una peça de terra.
Nati Soler Alcaide views literature as a mental tool for imaginatively conveying knowledge. After exploring various genres, and thanks to the Terra de llorers project and the trust of three actresses, she has created Malves. In this work, the author applies her belief that art generates art, drawing inspiration from pieces by Núria Rion and Manuel Morales.
The story of Malves is set in 1975 and is read by a contemporary playwright with the help of two collaborators in an unusual location: a forest. This choice of setting, the cemetery woods of Llorenç del Penedès, is part of the Terra de llorers project's activities, seeking out unique venues for its cultural offerings.
