The Llorenç del Penedès Festival, running from August 7-11, emphasizes the municipality's popular culture and festive heritage, featuring the release of a traditional music album.

Llorenç del Penedès is all set for its annual Festival, which this year will focus on revaluing local folklore groups and popular culture. The aim is to ensure these elements, fundamental to the town's identity, are prominent not only during the festival days but throughout the entire year.
A key highlight of this edition is the release and sale of a music album featuring all the traditional songs of the Festival. This project, recorded over the past year, seeks to preserve the municipality's musical heritage and make it accessible to all residents.
The celebration will take place from August 7-11, with a program blending traditional events and activities for all ages. Sunday, August 9, the eve of Sant Llorenç, will be a focal point with the traditional procession and the entry of the saint, followed by human towers built by local enthusiasts and the popular watermelon distribution event.
Saturday, August 8, will feature a significant human tower display with the participation of Nens del Vendrell, Colla Joves Xiquets de Valls, and Colla Jove dels Xiquets de Tarragona. Following this, the traditional communal dinner will once again demonstrate the festive spirit, with over a thousand tickets sold, reinforcing its role as a key event for community gathering.
The festival will also include concerts, sardanes (traditional Catalan dances), sporting events, and children's shows. The full program of events can be consulted via a provided link.
The Town Council invites everyone to experience the Festival with joy and respect, enjoying time with family and friends to continue nurturing the town's rich festive heritage.
