The Mossos d'Esquadra police force has arrested six minors suspected of committing 22 motorcycle thefts in the Baix Penedès and Garraf regions between January and March.

The group targeted scooters up to 125cc in towns such as Calafell and Vilanova i la Geltrú. Following an investigation launched in February, officers recovered 19 of the stolen vehicles. Some members also face charges for assaulting officers during a high-speed chase.
All suspects were released after their statements were taken and are now awaiting summons from the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office.
