The owners found their vehicles with their front and rear windows smashed. According to initial observations, the perpetrators likely used blunt objects to strike the glass, as in some cases they failed to break them completely.
Despite the severity of the material damage, no thefts from inside the vehicles have been reported. Notes were found on the affected cars advising owners to file a report with the Mossos d'Esquadra and the Calafell Local Police, including a case reference number.
This parking lot, located between the municipal market and the train station, has been the site of similar incidents in the past. Local residents have reiterated their request to improve security in this problematic area, calling for increased police patrols or the installation of surveillance cameras.
