The city of Badalona will hold an institutional event on Thursday, October 15th, in memory of the President of the Generalitat of Catalonia, Lluís Companys i Jover, coinciding with the 86th anniversary of his execution.
The event will take place at 9:30 AM at the monolith dedicated to the president, located in the small garden on Avinguda del President Lluís Companys, at the corner of Carrer de Sant Josep i de Rosés.
During the commemoration, authorities will lay a floral offering to remember Companys, who was executed by the Francoist army in the Santa Eulàlia moat of Montjuïc Castle.
