The FILMETS Badalona Film Festival celebrated its 52nd edition this year, focusing on diverse perspectives and cinematic talent, from October 15th to 25th in Badalona. As part of the festival, the CNL of Badalona and Sant Adrià organized an activity for participants of the Language Volunteer (VxL) program.
The event took place on Tuesday, October 20th, at the Teatre Zorrilla, where 18 VxL participants attended a screening from the Km0 section. This section highlights local audiovisual creation and Catalan authorship, featuring short films in Catalan such as Els colors de l'iris and Ningú borda.
This initiative aims to provide real opportunities for contact with the Catalan language, strengthen bonds among VxL participants, and foster conversations based on shared experiences. The Km0 section of FILMETS serves as an opportunity to engage with Catalan cinema and discover the expressive richness of the Catalan language on screen.
