The reading club at Espai Betúlia will focus on Written on the Body, one of Jeanette Winterson's most recognized works. Jeanette Winterson, born in Manchester in 1959, is a prominent figure in contemporary English literature. A literature graduate, she has received awards such as the IBW and the John Llewellyn Rhys Prize. Her work, which explores the limits of physicality, imagination, gender, and sexual identity, includes titles like The Passion and Frankissstein. Winterson also collaborates with publications such as The Guardian and The New York Times, and has been recognized with the Order of the British Empire.
