Students in Badalona participating in the Network of Schools for Sustainability (XES-Bdn) will once again have the Environmental and Development School Agenda, a pedagogical resource designed to foster sustainability and environmental awareness.
With the slogan "A course with good energy!", this 2026-2027 edition focuses on the energy transition. Through ten comic-style stories featuring students their own age, pupils will reflect on energy use, its impacts, and the challenges of the new energy model.
The Barcelona Provincial Council, through the Network of Cities and Towns towards Sustainability, annually publishes these agendas and calendars. This year, 619 agendas were distributed to seven secondary schools and 59 calendars to 20 educational centers in the city, including primary schools, an adult education center, a special education center, and institutes.
The publication includes sustainability content with stories, activities, and reflection prompts for students throughout the year. This initiative by the Barcelona Provincial Council and the City Council of Badalona contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of Agenda 2030.
