Nearly a hundred people who were evicted from the former B9 institute in Badalona spent the night of December 17-18 camping in the square located in front of the building.

The affected individuals, who had been expelled from the occupied building the previous day, improvised an encampment with tents, bonfires, and scrap materials in the square directly opposite the former institute.
Security is tight in the area. Officers from the Guàrdia Urbana de Badalona are keeping the area cordoned off, while agents from the Special Intervention Group (GEIP) control access to the main entrance to prevent any attempt at re-occupation.
In addition to police surveillance, workers from an electric company have begun cutting off the power supply to the former B9. This measure aims to further complicate the re-occupation of the building.
Municipal sources confirmed that, although the building had historically housed up to 400 immigrants, the number of occupants at the time of the eviction was significantly lower.
