The event, promoted by the Department of Business and Labour of the Generalitat de Catalunya, has solidified its focus on fashion, craftsmanship, and creativity, attracting over 6,000 visitors to the Open Area and more than 15,500 to the main fashion shows. The initiative PLEC · Barcelona Fashion Culture, driven by the Barcelona City Council, also welcomed over 3,000 visitors, highlighting public interest in a broader perspective of fashion beyond the runway.
The new location at Marina Seca del Port Vell was a highlight of this edition, blending in-person experiences with live broadcasts. Digital coverage was significant, with over 5 million views on the 080 Barcelona Fashion social media channels. Additionally, 'PLEC · La 080 en pantalla' brought the fashion shows to four city neighborhoods, drawing considerable public attention.
The Open Area served as a dynamic hub for exchange and experimentation, bringing together students, professionals, and fashion enthusiasts. Activities such as the talk on "AI Campaigns" with Adriá Marcos and the jewelry workshop by Toda Frágil enriched the event experience.
The closing day featured collections from designers including CRYPTA, L’AMAR, PAT EQUILUX, SOHUMAN, BOLTAD, ALEIXANDRI STUDIO, and DAVID CATALÁN, showcasing the diversity and talent of Catalan fashion with international reach.
The event was supported by the Barcelona City Council, in collaboration with the Barcelona Provincial Council, and sponsored by various brands such as Port Vell, Marina Vela, MAC Cosmetics, Wella, Hotel Me, EBRO, and Losberger De Boer, among other collaborators.
