The Barcelona City Council has opened the call for applications for the “Barcelona Crea Fabra i Coats: Fàbrica de Creació” grants for the 2026 edition, aimed at supporting pre-production artistic processes. Four grants of €6,000 each have been announced.

These subsidies are intended to support the conceptualization, gestation, research, experimentation, documentation, and rehearsal of artistic projects that have obtained a residency at Fabra i Coats: Fàbrica de Creació. The modalities include performing arts (theater, dance, and circus), visual arts, and music creation.
The deadline for submitting applications is from September 7th to 29th, 2026. Legal entities and subjects obliged by Law 39/2015 must submit applications and justifications obligatorily through the electronic headquarters of the City Council. For individuals, online submission is preferred, although in-person submission at authorized registry offices is accepted.
Participants must be over 18 years old. Both individuals and legal entities, as well as groups without their own legal personality, can apply for the grants. The call also refers to the submission of proposals within fifteen business days from the day after publication in the Official Provincial Gazette.
