The fashion magazine Vogue has dedicated its cover to the city of Barcelona for the first time, celebrating its designation as the World Capital of Architecture 2026 and the Gaudí Year.

The publication, known as the "fashion bible," features content that paints a picture of the vibrant cultural, economic, and social scene of the Catalan capital, coinciding with the Gaudí Year and its selection as the World Capital of Architecture by Unesco in 2026.

"Barcelona is a word with the capacity to entice an international creative community eager to be part of its history... Everyone agrees in celebrating that effervescence that arises from its streets and emblematic neighborhoods."

The cover editorial features 'top' model Lulu Tenney, muse of Chanel, photographed by Sebastian Faena and styled by Harry Lambert. The images capture iconic locations such as Gaudí's La Pedrera, the Gothic Quarter, the Walden 7 building, or Casa Vicens.
The issue, available since January 20, includes texts by Barcelona writer Leticia Sala, as well as interviews with designer Zoe Oms, composer Rita Payés, and urban planner María Buhigas. It also features an intimate photoshoot by Sebastián Faena of the family of Luna Paiva and businessman Pablo Bofill.
